Step 1: Go to phone Settings
To begin, unlock your iPhone or iPad and then tap the “Settings” icon on your home screen. This will bring up your phone’s settings.
Step 2: Go to “Subtitles & Captioning” settings
Look for “Subtitles” in the settings. To search the settings, use the search bar. If you don’t see the search bar, swipe down on the screen to bring it up.
Now, select the “Subtitles & Captioning” settings.
Alternatively, go to Accessibility > Scroll down > Select Subtitles & Captioning.
Step 3: Select “Style”
In the “Subtitles & Captioning” settings, you’ll see three options: Closed Captions + SDH, Style, and Show Audio Transcriptions.
Select “Style” and proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Tap on “Create New Style…”
In the “Style” settings, you’ll see four default styles: Transparent Background, Large Text, Classic, and Outline Text.
The “Transparent Background” style is selected by default.
Tap on “Create New Style…” and proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Make the text transparent and tap “Save”
In this step, we’ll try to make the captions as transparent as possible so that they’re less visible on the video.
Note: For all settings, make sure the Video Override toggle switch is switched off.

Descriptions: No CC
Font: Keep the default font
Size: Small
Color: White
Color (background): Keep default background
Opacity: 0%
Text Opacity: Transparent

Step 6: Restart Twitter
Finally, restart Twitter and go to the video. You’ll notice that the captions have become less visible!
