Here’s how to fix YouTube video not processing:

  1. Wait it out
  2. Convert the video to MP4 format
  3. Clear the browser cache

1. Wait it out

According to the most recent statistics, approximately 500 hours of video are uploaded on YouTube per minute. As a result, you can imagine the amount of processing power required to process all of these videos.

So, the first solution is to simply wait it out. Allow up to 30 minutes for the video to process.

Re-uploading a video won’t solve the problem, and you’ll end up wasting even more time by doing this.

Let YouTube process the video for a while, as YouTube does a few checks before allowing the video to go live on its platform.

2. Convert the video to MP4 format

The second solution is to convert the video to mp4 format. This can reduce the processing time considerably.

The following are the recommended upload encoding settings for YouTube videos:

FormatMP4
Audio codec AAC-LC
Video codec H.264
Aspect ratio 16:9

3. Clear the browser cache
