To enable the “Adult content” toggle switch, open a mobile browser (such as Safari) and search for “Reddit Login”. Now, click the first link that says “Log in – Reddit”.
Alternatively, go to https://www.reddit.com/login
When you click the link, you’ll be sent to the Reddit login page. To access the “Adult content” toggle switch, you must first log in to your Reddit account.
To log in to your Reddit account, enter your email address and Reddit password and click the “Login” button.
You will now be taken to the homepage of your Reddit account. The “Menu” icon can be found in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.
Tap the “Menu” icon, then select the “Settings” toggle list from the list of available options. Choose “Account settings” from the menu located in the settings.
On this page, you’ll find the settings for your entire account. You’ll notice that there are several tabs across the top of the page.

3. Open the video on the Apollo app

Let’s say you are on the Reddit mobile app, you’ve joined an NSFW community, and want to watch a video, but you won’t be able to because Reddit doesn’t enable audio on such videos. In this case, you must open it in the Apollo app.
There are two ways to open the same video on the Apollo app: access the community on the Apollo app and search for the video or use the “Open in Apollo” option.
Personally, I choose the latter. When I come across a muted video, I select the “Open in Apollo” option.
To do so, tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the video. Now, from the menu, choose “Share”.
Finally, scroll down to the “Open in Apollo” option and tap on it to open the video directly on the Apollo app.
4. Unmute the video
After you open the video on the Apollo app, tap the play button to play the video.
Finally, tap the “Mute” icon to play the audio.
Note: Some videos on Reddit are submitted as GIFs, therefore when you open them in the Apollo app, they will not appear as videos but will play as GIFs.
You may also make Apollo your default app for accessing Reddit, which eliminates the need to move between the official Reddit app and the Apollo app.
