3. Select “Search engine” from the left sidebar
When you enter Chrome settings, you’ll see a few options on the left sidebar. You and Google, Autofill, Privacy and security, Appearance, Search engine, Default browser, On startup, Advanced options, Extensions, and About Chrome will all be available in this sidebar.
Select “Search engine” from the list of options and proceed to the next step.
4. Click on “Manage search engines and site search”
After selecting “Search engine”, the search engine options will appear on the right side.
Under the heading “Search engine”, there are two options: (1) the search engine used in the address bar, and (2) managing search engines and site search.
To make modifications to the search engine, select the second option.

It is now time to make this search engine your default search engine. To do so find the search engine you created in Step-7. It should be under the title “Site search”.
After you find the search engine, you’ll see three dots on the extreme right of the search engine. Click on these three dots and select “Make default”.

It’s now time to type a search term into the search window and hit enter. When you press the enter key, the parameter is automatically appended to your inputted query.
Also, you won’t see any results from Pinterest.com in the search results.
To disable this search engine, navigate to chrome://settings/searchEngines, select Google under the title “Search engine”, and click on the three dots in the upper right corner. Now, from the drop-down option, choose “Make default”. Finally, you can delete the search engine you built.
